My advertising experience is wide-ranging and runs the gamut from direct response and print ads to digital and television. I have worked on both the agency and client side, met the brand-building objectives of Fortune 500 companies and developed targeted creative solutions that motivate consumers to act. Whatever the marketing challenge, my solution is always a highly creative concept based on sound strategic thinking that meets the communication objectives.
For the past nine years I was a Senior Copywriter at Rapp New York, a premier direct response agency. On the Mercedes-Benz account I was primarily responsible for the introduction of new car models, as well as the maintenance of ongoing customer-dealer relationships, I was also on the Humana Healthcare team with a focus on HumanaVitality, the centerpiece of Humana’s long-term preventive healthcare strategy. Other accounts worked on are the New York State Lottery, Time Warner Cable, Hewlett-Packard, H&R Block and Medco.
Prior to joining Rapp New York, I was self-employed for a number of years with my own creative consultancy. I worked with ad agencies, marketing firms and corporations, providing consumer, business-to-business and direct response solutions on a wide range of accounts that included: automotive, financial services, technology, travel, office equipment, airlines, fashion and retail.
I was also on staff at Doyle Dane Bernbach, Scali McCabe Sloves, William Esty and Berlin Cameron Wright.
Some of the highlights of my advertising career are my work on the legendary Volkswagen account. The advertising for Nissan that helped give them a national presence. And the creative marketing that helped Prudential Financial become a contender in the investment-banking field.
